A clinical librarian with a specialization in serving patients and families, Vicki Lee has worked in the health care system for thirty years. A master at discovering information needs and finding high quality information to meet those needs, Vicki makes sure that patients, families, and health care professionals have the best information available to make health care decisions.
Vicki has done extensive research in mapping patients’ information needs over the courses of their health care journey. As a determined detective with a clear understanding of what she’s looking for, Vicki is an expert at matching resources to needs. She has particular expertise in the areas of oncology, cardiology, pediatric developmental disabilities, and general medicine. She has been known to follow a patient into the operating room.
