People will often say, “I don’t want any heroics,” but they really have no understanding of what that means. In BC if we don’t want CPR, we must have a signed doctor’s order and we have medical orders that allow us to get specific about the level of resuscitation and treatment we would want in hospital and residential care. This is an overview of understanding resuscitation and levels of treatment.
