Series Pt. 1 - Navigating the BC Healthcare System: Understanding Community, Hospital, Home Care & Residential Care

FREE - please register.

The next few weeks are all about being willfully and intentionally informed.

If you choose to be an empowered patient, the information you gather is often uncomfortable and daunting. It is easier to put blinders on, not listen, not watch the news, and not seek information. Most of us say, “I’ll find out when I need to find out.”

The ongoing news of a healthcare system under siege is overwhelming. But not being informed can be dangerous, even deadly. We must be prepared to do the heavy lifting in our care. That means being willfully informed, and planning ahead.

I hope you’ll join us for all of the upcoming online workshops that start this week.

Part 1:

The BC Healthcare System is complex, fragmented and siloed, and under tremendous stress. Understanding how the system works will help you get the care you need and deserve. Join us online for this important workshop on understanding care in hospital, discharge planning, and the differences between private and publicly-subsidized home care services and residential care.

Please consider making a gratitude donation to help keep these vital workshops free for all - sliding scale or gift what you can, with thanks.
