End of Life Doula, Grief Support Specialist

Carolyn is an End of Life Doula specializing in grief counselling. She offers 1-to-1 counselling sessions in the privacy of your home or virtually via Zoom.

She is an Ambassador for The Waiting Room Revolution – a program that brings the human back into the center of care and teaches how to navigate a life-changing diagnosis as an empowered patient.

Carolyn serves as a volunteer with MAiD Family Support Society, providing peer support for those anticipating or having experienced the loss of a close friend or family member who chose MAiD at the end of life.

Previously, she worked as a mental health nurse in Child and Adolescent Mental Health for 40+ years.

Carolyn believes that grief is both a universal and very personal experience, which needs to be honoured and compassionately explored in a comfortable and safe space.
