Effective Patient and Care Partner Communication

Register below by donation.

Presented by Connie Jorsvik of PatientPathways.ca, join us to learn how to be more effective and assertive in asking for the medical care you need and deserve.

When facing serious illness, advocating for yourself and communicating with providers can feel overwhelming. This workshop will equip future patients and care partners with practical skills to prepare for appointments, communicate assertively, and overcome barriers to care. You will learn how to step into the vital role of a care partner — acting as the eyes, ears, and voice for a loved one when they cannot speak for themselves. And instead of feeling unheard during medical visits, you will leave ready to build a collaborative healthcare team, secure legal authority, and ensure your values and treatment preferences are always respected.

At the end of our chat, we will open the floor for your questions.

Can’t make it? Not to worry, recording will be emailed to all registrants.
