Yael Blumenov provides personalized, concierge-style companionship and lifestyle support for older adults in North and West Vancouver. Whether her clients live independently, in assisted living, or in long-term care, Yael helps them maintain quality of life, purpose, and dignity while offering families complete peace of mind.
Experience & Background
Since 2022, Yael has been using her diverse experience to support older adults and their families. She has advocated for clients, kept out-of-town family members informed and connected to their loved ones' care, and walked alongside families through changes in health and declining conditions.
Her experience includes caring for clients living with Parkinson's disease, cancer, Alzheimer's disease, and dementia. Yael has also supported clients with serious illness who chose Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), offering compassionate companionship that helped them maintain dignity and quality of life throughout their journey.
Additionally, Yael holds a certificate for Alua Arthur's Going with Grace End of Life Doula training.
Yael's practice is built on creating meaningful relationships. She tailors every visit to each client's unique interests, personal routines, and preferences. From accompanying clients to medical appointments to sharing quiet conversation, Yael brings warmth, reliability, and thoughtful attention to every interaction.
