Join us as we step outside our usual practical Patient Pathways framework to offer a special workshop led by Kathryn Haase, trained Death Doula and holistic transition practitioner. Kathryn brings a unique perspective to our community, and bridges the gap between traditional emotional support and sacred end-of-life care.
This workshop is designed to offer a gentle, grounding space to explore what it means to prepare emotionally and spiritually for life’s final transition—whether you are planning for yourself, supporting a loved one, or navigating grief.
We will explore:
Moving Beyond the Checklist: How emotional and spiritual readiness complements practical healthcare planning.
Companioning Grief: Shifting away from trying to “fix” or suppress grief, and learning how to hold it with patience, reverence, and understanding.
Lightening Emotional Weight: Gentle practices to help release anxiety, unspoken burdens, and spiritual overwhelm during times of transition.
Sovereignty & Inner Peace: Simple spiritual hygiene and grounding techniques to maintain clarity, boundaries, and alignment as you face life’s most vulnerable thresholds.
Legacy & Meaning: Honouring the natural, sacred passage of life through dialogue, presence, and intentional transition work.
Bring your questions for our audience Q&A at the end of our session together.
