Understanding Capability, Dementia and Frailty in BC

Register below by donation.

Presented by Connie Jorsvik, BSN, of PatientPathways.ca, join us to understand the various forms of cognitive decline, how to spot the signs, and when/how to ask for testing and help.

Cognitive decline and frailty are complex journeys that drastically impact how you navigate BC’s healthcare system. This workshop demystifies these conditions by clarifying the differences among various types of dementia and frailty, as well as how legal capability is assessed. You will learn about the testing and diagnostic process, as well as the unique risks facing those who live alone and experience cognitive changes. Instead of waiting for a health crisis to take choices out of your hands, you will leave with a clear understanding of when to seek help, how care partners can step in, and how to put proactive plans in place so your rights and wishes are always protected

At the end of our chat, we will open the floor for your questions.

Can’t make it? Not to worry, the recording will be emailed to all registrants.

Please share this important event widely!
